About the boat:
This boat was built by Mikkel Pagh during the video filming of the online-based apprenticeship program "Building the Fiddlehead Canoe".
Around 300 hours of work has gone into the boat. Materials and workmanship are as good as it gets.
Below, you will find a video that shows the building process, as well as a video that highlights some of the historical and functional characteristics of this particular type of boat.
It's with a heavy heart that we're selling this boat off to get room for new boatbuilding projects.

Intended capacity: 1-2. Seats and backrests are movable so trim is adjusted to passenger number.
Construction type: Flat-bottom lapstrake canoe.
Materials: Danish larch planking, bottom and deck. Oak coaming, seats, backrests, stems and rub rails. Copper-tipped spruce double paddles with leather drip rings. All fasteners and fittings are bronze, copper or brass. Epifanes paint and varnish.
The boat was built in the winter of 2021-2022. It has been on the water approximately 5 times and is in as-new condition.
The boat is located at Small Boat School in Langeland, Denmark.
